PF motor in position time-out error

This message appears and printer is stopped when the carriage or paper cannot move into the last target position through PF motor control within the required time during stop processing.

• Check Points:
  • No dirt or foreign objects (dust, etc.) on PF encoder or Scale, PF.
  • No abnormality with PF timing belt and proper tension of the belt.
  • No unusual loads on grid roller rotation.
  • PF motor resistance measurement.
  • Perform encoder check with self-diagnostic program.
  • Harness connections are correct and no shorts or wire disruptions.
• Solution
  • Replace the PF encoder sensor.
  • Replace the PF encoder.
  • Replace the C362DRV board.
