This message appears and printer is stopped when the head slide home position is not detected at time of head platen gap variation (change) during power on initialization or after paper set.
Check head slide home position sensor: make sure that sensor operating properly and there no damage due to dirt or foreign objects on the sensor or head platen gap drive gear. Check head slide motor: measure resistance, check that motor operating properly, check that there is not damage to the loop line of head platen gap drive gear. Replace the C362DRV board.
